This is a project years in the making of some of the insights and comments I have about each chapter in the Book of Mormon. Come along for the journey.

3 Nephi Chapter 30
30:1 - "...Hearken, O ye Gentiles, and hear the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, which he hath commanded me that I should speak concerning you..."
This is a great example of faith. Mormon, even though he knew it might be taken offensively, wrote this because he trusted and had faith in the Lord. Nobody likes being the bearer of bad news or of offense. If they do, they're weird. But we need to follow the direction of the Lord, even if sometimes we think it may be offensive to people.
30:1-2 - "...Turn, all ye Gentiles, from your wicked ways; and repent of your evil doings, of your lyings and deceivings, and of your whoredoms, and of your secret abominations, and your idolatries, and of your murders, and your priestcrafts, and your envyings, and your strifes, and from all your wickedness and abominations, and come unto me, and be baptized in my name, that ye may receive a remission of your sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost, that ye may be numbered with my people who are of the house of Israel..."
If we don't repent, we will not be found with the Savior at that great and glorious day. In a coming day, we will stand before the Savior, and we will have a perfect remembrance of our works and guilt (Alma 11:42-44). It is up to us to not procrastinate the day of our repentance (Alma 34:32-34).
