This is a project years in the making of some of the insights and comments I have about each chapter in the Book of Mormon. Come along for the journey.

Alma Chapter 21
21:15 - "...and they went forth again to declare the word..."
Aaron and his brethren had the faith to keep going, even after it seemed that nobody was listening to them. They could have given up and gone home, but they acted in faith and worked to continue their mission.
21:16 - "...and they went forth whithersoever they were led by the Spirit of the Lord, preaching the word of God in every synagogue..."
They had gone through some terrible experiences and were still malleable. Just because we go through tough times doesn't mean that we don't have the Spirit with us - indeed, these times can help us come even closer, if we let it (Alma 62:41).
We can let difficult times harden us, or humble us.
21:23 - "...and they were zealous for keeping the commandments of God..."
This is the way we should live our lives - doing out best, while maintaining a non-judgmental attitude and even a forgiving attitude towards those who aren't at our "level." We can't say that we're more righteous, because that's prideful. If somebody else is sinning, we should do what we can to help them, forgive them, and not judge them.
