This is a project years in the making of some of the insights and comments I have about each chapter in the Book of Mormon. Come along for the journey.

3 Nephi Chapter 5
5:1-3 - "...And now behold, there was not a living soul among all the people of the Nephites who did doubt in the least the words of all the holy prophets who had spoken..."
It's surprising how quickly things turn from everybody believing the words of the holy prophets to wickedness yet again.
How quick are we to turn from God?
We need to stand with steadfast dedication.
5:1-3 - "...And now behold, there was not a living soul among all the people of the Nephites who did doubt in the least the words of all the holy prophets who had spoken...Therefore they did forsake all their sins, and their abominations..."
One of the outward manifestations of faith (the opposite of doubt) is repenting and serving God. We know we are opening ourselves up to receiving more faith when we have a greater desire to serve God and our fellow man.
5:13 - "...Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life..."
We are supposed to stand as witnesses at all times and places. It's not what we know - but what we do with what we know!
