This is a project years in the making of some of the insights and comments I have about each chapter in the Book of Mormon. Come along for the journey.

3 Nephi Chapter 8
8:1 - "...and there was not any man who could do a miracle in the name of Jesus save he were cleansed every whit from his iniquity..."
It's important that we be ready at all times, especially having the Priesthood, to be worthy to give blessings.
Miracles can and do happen.
8:4 - "...And there began to be great doubtings and disputations among the people, notwithstanding so many signs had been given..."
It is interesting to see how there really is no middle ground - either we have faith and look forward to the signs and prophecies being fulfilled, or we try to explain them away.
There really is no avoidance. We either develop faith or doubt and rationalization.
8:24-25 - "...And in one place they were heard to cry, saying: O that we had repented before this great and terrible day..."
Samuel the Lamanite had warned them of this very thing - that they would say, "Oh had we repented before this day."
We must repent now, or suffer the consequences.
